This is our promise about your data. We will keep it short and direct. No legal fog, no hidden clauses. If you want to skip to your rights or how to contact us, scroll down.
Who runs this site
Korvani is a peer-support brand run by Korvani LLC, founded by Tim Naylor, a Certified Peer Specialist in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. You can reach Tim at tim@korvani.co or by mail at:
Korvani LLC / Timothy Naylor 6595 Roswell Road, Suite G2037 Atlanta, GA 30328 United States
What we collect
We collect as little as we can. Specifically:
- Server logs. When you visit korvani.co, our hosting provider (Vercel) records your IP address, browser type, the page you opened, and the time you opened it. This is standard for any website and helps us spot problems.
- Cookies and the Meta Pixel. CookieYes records your cookie consent choice (about a year). If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel sets a cookie (
_fbp) so we can measure our ads, for example whether someone who clicked an ad later requested a free guide. You can decline this in the cookie banner at any time, and nothing on the site breaks. - Email signups. If you request a free guide (the coping-tools cheat sheet or the starter guide) or join the Walk With You newsletter, your email goes to our email platform (Brevo) and/or to Substack, where the newsletter is hosted. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Purchases. If you buy a workbook, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your email and order details so we can deliver your download. We never see or store your card number.
- Contact emails. If you email tim@korvani.co, your message lives in our email provider's inbox (Google Workspace) until we delete it or you ask us to.
What we do NOT do
- No selling. We do not sell your data. Ever. If anyone offered to buy it, the answer is no.
- No data brokers. We do not share your data with data brokers.
- No tracking beyond ad measurement you can decline. The only third-party tracking is the Meta Pixel described above, and you can turn it off in the cookie banner.
- No kids. We do not collect personal data from children under 13 (US) or 16 (EU). Korvani is for adults.
How we use what we collect
- Server logs and cookies: to keep the site running and respect your preferences.
- The Meta Pixel: to measure whether our ads are reaching the right people. With your consent only.
- Email signups: to send you what you signed up for. Nothing else.
- Purchases: to deliver your product and help you if something goes wrong.
- Contact emails: to reply to you.
Who else sees your data
These services help us run korvani.co. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not share more data than is necessary for them to do their job.
- Vercel (web hosting): sees server logs.
- CookieYes (cookie consent banner): records your consent choice and a hashed IP.
- Meta / Facebook (advertising): if you accept marketing cookies, limited event data (page views, whether you requested a guide) so we can measure our ads.
- Brevo (email platform): your email and first name, if you request a free guide.
- Substack (newsletter, walkwithyou.substack.com): your email, only if you subscribe.
- Stripe (payments): your email and order details, only when you buy something.
- Google Workspace (our email): only if you email us.
- Porkbun (domain registrar): does not see visitor data.
If Korvani adds a new service that touches your data, this section will be updated before the service goes live.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Know what data we have about you.
- Access that data and get a copy.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your data, with limited exceptions (for example, we keep purchase and legal records as required).
- Withdraw consent at any time. For cookies and ad measurement, use the Cookie settings button on any page.
- Object to how we use your data.
- Port your data to another service.
EU residents: these rights come from the GDPR. California residents: similar rights under the CCPA / CPRA. To exercise any of them, email tim@korvani.co. We will respond within 30 days.
Under California law, using the Meta Pixel for advertising may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out any time by declining marketing cookies in the cookie banner. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not work with data brokers.
How long we keep it
- Server logs: about 30 days, then deleted by our hosting provider.
- Email signups: until you unsubscribe.
- Purchase records: as long as required for tax and legal purposes.
- Contact emails: up to 2 years, then deleted unless they are part of an ongoing conversation.
- CookieYes consent records: about 1 year (the lifespan of the consent cookie).
Children
Korvani is built for adults. The site is not directed at children under 13 (US) or under 16 (EU). We do not intentionally collect data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data here, email tim@korvani.co and we will delete it.
Security
We use standard hosting security: HTTPS encryption on every page and regular software updates. No system is perfect. We minimize what we collect so there is less to leak. We do not store payment information on korvani.co. Workbook sales are processed by Stripe, which handles card data under its own PCI-DSS security standards.
International data transfers
Korvani is based in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, especially from the EU or UK, your data will cross borders to reach our hosting and services. By using the site, you accept this. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.
Crisis content note
Korvani publishes peer-support content related to mental health, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and suicide. This site is not a crisis line and not a substitute for therapy or medical care. If you are in crisis, please call or text 988 (US) or reach a qualified mental health professional. We do not collect or store data about your specific mental health situation beyond what you choose to share with us.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when we change anything material. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect each change. We will not change our core promises (no selling your data, no data brokers, no collecting kids' data) without telling you on the home page or in the newsletter.
